Day 2 was very helpful....learning about voice thread was something new and different. Anything with visuals is important for my ELLs. I enjoyed coming to this technology class and learning new ways to engage my students.

Day 2 was excellent. I am very excited to use voice thread and comic life in class. I'm also looking forward to using movies in my construction of podcasts.
Using these new technologies will allow me to meet the diverse interests of 21st century learners.

This was just another amazing day. I wish I could continue learning these skills each month in another course. I will be using the voice threads and united streaming for everything that I am doing with my students for the rest of the year.

I loved Voice Thread! I can use this in my class to differentiate learning styles and readiness. Thanks!
I can use the RAFT to have kiddos research composers! (That would be a nice complement to my protopage activity!)

I'm surprised at how easy GarageBand was to use. I plan on including a GarageBand activity when I add a new section to my protopage.

I enjoyed learning about 21st century learners. The videos were very enlightening. I hope I will modify my teaching some to include what I've learned.

Hi All,
Thanks for the great info. We enjoyed making the podcast and learning about the rafts. We'll be working with Paul on our Europe curriculum (after CSAP of course). Sorry about being late.

Day 2 was less frustrating than Day 1 because of the level of schema was higher. i am excited to attempt the Voice Thread and give those who have a hard time with written responses a chance to respond in a different manor.

I am so glad I got the chance to come today. I missed Day One and didn't really know what to expect today. What I got was chance to learn about a few great things (pod cast, voice thread, united streaming) that will allow me to not only differentiate in my class but also let my students show what they know in ways that will appeal to them because of the world they live in. I can't wait to share these great tools and start using them to improve the quality of learning with my fifth graders.

I really liked the pod-casting idea. I am going to have to be much better about incorporating today's learning into my curriculum. I need to keep in mind that I would be holding my kids back by not doing this for them.

I am excited about trying VoiceThread with my classes. I see so many possibilities and I think it will be high interest. I am also now planning to do podcasting with my intermediate classes. Thanks for the great resources and the time to really become familiar with them!

Making the podcast was fun and it's something I'll use in my classroom! I also liked the videos...something to think about. Voicethread was pretty cool too, I'll have to play around with it a little more before I am "proficient." Thanks for everything!

I'm leaving day two feeling excited about technology and motivated to use what I learned today in my classroom. I loved the podcasts!! It was so helpful to actually do one; now I feel like I really know how to make a podcast with my class. Using technology is essential in motivating todays learners!

I am excited to try podcasting with my students. I loved the idea of having the students make a radio speech to show what they have learned. Today was very helpful!

The students are the ones that guide the new technology. They are the ones that we need to follow to keep them engaged and learning. I want to use the podcast to support my reading program in the classroom. I want to be able to engage students in reading with the use of creating rafts and pull all the technology as part of it.

Day 2 was very thought provoking for me. It was good for me to watch the videos on the CD. It gave me greater perspective on the value of technology and integrating it into the classroom to engage students. I also enjoyed working on the podcast. I will use it in my primary classroom and looking forward to my students reactions.
